Description
The 21-peptide NGAKALMGGHGATKVMVGAAA, a scrambled sequence of the human prion protein (106-126), is an important control in the study of the biological activity of prion protein peptides. By circular dichroism,the scrambled PrP 106-126 showed a random coil structure, exhibited no aggregation, and was completely degraded by incubation with proteinase K and pronase at 37°C for 30 minutes.
